I have an out of state Drivers License, can I transfer it to Minnesota at your location?

Yes.  If you are  new to Minnesota or returning to Minnesota with a unexpired Drivers License form another state you do not have to take a written exam.

You will need to bring in all the required documents to apply for the REAL or Enhanced ID again if you are applying for that type of ID.

Please ensure that you have Proper Identification Documents for Standard ID (PDF)
