New Nature Play Space at Grams Park - Coming 2023
Grams Park has been a busy place this past year as we work to improve the natural character and value for wildlife and people! As the goats and sheep prepare to leave this week, our crew is preparing to start preparing the ground next week for the NEW NATURE PLAY AREA coming Summer 2023! The existing nature play area will be dismantled and closed off beginning Monday November 7. The area will remain closed through winter, spring and summer as the space is transformed to make playing in nature accessible and inviting for kids!
Also coming to Grams as part of this project you can expect to see a new, expanded parking area, additional picnic shelter with more seating, and a native landscape planting. We anticipate project completion in early September! Throughout the construction process the existing shelter will not be available for reservations or drop in use. Construction areas will be fenced off and we ask that park users respect the safety boundaries and associated signs.
