Sherburne County Commissioners are scheduled to attend a special meeting in July and an employee recognition event in August.
The Special Meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21 in the Maple Conference Room at the Government Center.
The purpose of the meeting is to allow the County Board of Commissioners to conduct a joint meeting with the City of Elk River City Council. Agenda items include presentation and discussion of Solid Waste/Landfill/Composting issues; local Road & Bridge Projects; and utilization by the City and County of ARPA Funds, including for expansion of Broadband services. A detailed agenda will be published and available on the County website on or before July 21.
The special event will follow the County Board Meeting on Aug. 3 and will be held in the Staff Café, located within the Sherburne Government Center.
The purpose of this event is to allow recognition of County Staff for their work and dedication through the COVID-19 pandemic. There will be no county business discussed or conducted at this event.
