Pollinator Habitat Project underway at Island View!

Last Friday – Island View Park was treated with herbicide in the lower field – this is step 2 in the site preparation for pollinator habitat planting. The entire 20 acres will be planted to a native prairie mix that is rich in pollinator benefiting plants. Planting is in partnership with the Sherburne Soil & Water Conservation District and is scheduled for spring 2020.
