Oak Savanna Habitat Restoration

Sherburne County was awarded Outdoor Heritage Fund dollars through the Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council.  Project activities may begin after July 1, 2019 and continue through December 21, 2022.

Management objectives are to restore the function of the diverse fire dependent plant communities unique to this park through invasive tree removal, forest canopy thinning, invasive species control and prescribed burning.
