This strategy is designed to increase access to and selection of healthier foods in Sherburne County.
Healthy School Foods
All healthy eating initiatives focus on the following four goals: increasing access to fruits and vegetables, decreasing access to foods high in sodium, saturated fat, and added sugars.
The Tobacco-Free Living strategy strives to reduce and prevent tobacco use among youth and adults, and eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke.
The worksite wellness strategy focuses on improving healthy eating, physical activity, breastfeeding support, and tobacco-free policies within businesses in Sherburne County.
