Inmate Accounts

When an inmate is booked into the Sherburne County Jail an inmate account is created. The account holds money brought in on their person and allows inmates to purchase additional items via the commissary. Commissary purchases are items that are not provided to inmates, such as candy, pop snacks, haircuts and stamps.

Privacy

Account information is only available to the inmate. Upon release or transfer to another facility, the inmate's account is closed and the inmate is issued a check or debit card.

Deposits

Money may be deposited into the account of in-custody inmates. There are four ways to deposit money on behalf of an inmate:

1. Online

Visit the access website to create an account and deposit money on behalf of an inmate. There is a fee for online deposits. Deposits are credited to the inmate's account within minutes.

2. Telephone

Call Access Corrections at 866-345-1884 to create an account and deposit money on behalf of an inmate. There is a fee for telephone deposits. Deposits are credited to the inmate's account within minutes.

3. In Person at Lobby & 4. Video Visitation Kiosks

Deposits are accepted at kiosks located in the Jail Lobby or Video Visitation. The kiosk is provided for cash and credit card deposits only. There is a fee for deposits made on the kiosks.
