The County Administrator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services to Sherburne County's residents, businesses and visitors. The County Administrator makes recommendations to the Board of Commissioners, implements the board's policies, provides leadership and direction to department heads and staff, and develops and implements the county budget. The Board of Commissioners appoints the County Administrator.
On August 1, 2017, the County Board approved an updated Strategic Priority Plan (PDF) for the County. This plan was initially approved on July 15, 2014. The intent of this plan is to help guide the County's work over the next one to three years so that County resources are all aligned toward common goals.
