Sherburne County Auditor/Treasurer Diane Arnold would like to remind taxpayers that the second half of their Real Estate taxes for 2016 is due and must be postmarked* on or before October 17th with a Penalty assessed after that date.
After-hours drop-box has been moved by the circle ring and Flag poles by (door A) during the Government Center expansion project.

*Please note that most Post Offices now use a servicing center so mail is not being postmarked until two to three days after pick up so please plan accordingly as by Statute we must go by the postmark for penalty.

Community Health Survey

Help us to gather important health information about our communities by completing the Community Health Survey! Almost 9,000 randomly selected households in Benton, Sherburne and Stearns Counties will receive the survey in the mail. It is confidential and asks questions about access to health care, physical activity, nutrition, mental health and other health-related issues. Itís very important to complete the survey and mail it back! Data provides valuable information for public health and area hospitals to address health needs and develop stronger, healthier communities. More information PDF

Performance Measurement Program
Sherburne County is participating in the 2016 Performance Measurement Program and has submitted a report on standard measures created by the Council on Local Results and Innovation.

The Minnesota Legislature created the Council on Local Results and Innovation in 2010. The council created a standard set of 10 measures for counties. Participation in the standard measures program is voluntary. A county that elects to participate in the standard measures program for 2016 may be eligible for a reimbursement of 14 cents per capita in county program aid, not to exceed $25,000.
