Bringing Resources, Information, Direction and Guidance to Everyone in Sherburne County

Mission Statement:

We will collaborate to provide services that are family-friendly and easily accessible in time, location and dollars including:

  • Identification and referral for resources in all community settings (court, church, school, etc.)
  • With a range of services that are appropriate and comprehensive
  • That encompasses prevention and education, crisis intervention, treatment and on-ongoing supportive services.

Vision Statement:

Families are functioning well holistically (emotionally, physically, economically and spiritually). Children and youth with mental health challenges and their families will have their needs met through services that are appropriate, easily accessible and empowering.

Services Provided by BRIDGES include:

  • Information sharing related to workshops and activities sponsored by member agencies

Becoming a Member and Consumer Participation:

Article 4, Section 4 - An agency may become a member of BRIDGES through a statement of application, a vote of a majority of BRIDGES members, and the payment of a fee set by BRIDGES. Consumers seeking membership who are not part of an organization or agency are not required to pay a fee.

Requirements: Article 4, Section 6 - Members are required to attend and participate in a minimum of three-fourths of all regularly scheduled meetings including the annual meeting. Members are also required to participate in standing committees, ad hoc committees and task force groups as appropriate. Members are required to carry forward the work of BRIDGES both win its working structure and their own agencies. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in loss of voting membership.

Meetings:

BRIDGES meets the third Friday of each month at the Sherburne County Government Center in the Maple Room from 9 am to 11 am.
