Adult Services are available in these areas:
- Mental illness/Developmental Disability
- Chemical Dependency
- Adults in need of protection (Vulnerable Adults)
- Elderly in need of home care
- Persons in need of transportation
- Waivered Services for disabled adults under the age of 65
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
And the services we provide include:
- Adult protection; assessment and follow-up
- General assessment
- Case management
- Funding for support services based on assessed needs and eligibility
- Counseling
- Adult foster care
- Pre-petition screening; Mental Health & Chemical Dependency
- Transportation for the elderly, disabled, and general public
- General Volunteer programs, including R.S.V.P. (Retired Seniors Volunteer Program)
- Preadmission screening for nursing homes
- Meals for the elderly (Senior Dining Sites)
Information and referral to various community resources is available
through the department. Services can be provided directly or may be
