Is this the Court Services department?

Yes. The Probation Department was known formerly as the Court Services Department.

We supervise all juvenile offenders and all adult misdemeanor/gross misdemeanor offenders. In Sherburne County all adult felony-level offenders are supervised by the Minnesota Department of Corrections.

How can I find out who my probation officer is?

If you have appeared in juvenile court, or if you are an adult (18 years or older) whose conviction level was a misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor, stop by our office in the Government Center or call us at 763-765-4550 or 1-800-438-0574.

Where are you located?

We are located on the second floor of the Sherburne County Government Center.

Can I have an extension on my fine payment?

Fines are handled by the Court Administration Department.

Can I change my court date?

Court dates are handled by Court Administration.
