Human Resources

The Human Resources Division is responsible for the administration and management of the human resources and labor relations functions for Sherburne County under the administrative direction of the Deputy County Administrator and within the policy and fiscal guidelines established by the County Board of Commissioners. Human Resources develops and administers programs, policies and practices in support of approximately 600 employees and the work they perform in service to the citizens of Sherburne County.

  • Compensation and benefits
  • Labor relations for eight recognized employee union groups and non-union employees
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Training and development
  • Resolution of employee disputes and grievances
  • Risk management
